Manufacturing Solutions for Consumer Goods

Versatility is the key when making great consumer products for our clients. We need to be experts at combining a wide array of manufacturing processes with a broad palette of raw materials to make finished parts and assemblies quickly and to the highest quality.

Michigan CNC Machining Parts, Inc. has this expertise after helping thousands of companies, large and small, to realize their consumer product development goals. First of all, we have all necessary fabrication services in-house under the direct control of our international team of engineers and technicians. These services include CNC machining, polyurethane vacuum casting, pressure die casting, plastic injection molding and metal 3D printing.

We know that you need flexibility when responding to product development timelines and rapidly changing market conditions. That’s why Michigan CNC Machining Parts, Inc. has no minimum order quantities and no minimum order value. Whether you need one part or one hundred thousand, or anything in between, our quick-turnaround services are easily ramped up from prototyping to full production. This is a great advantage when you need to bring a new idea to market fast without being tied to a specific quantity.

Get to market faster by contacting us to see how we can help you manufacture your consumer products.

Consumer Companies We’ve Worked With

Quality You Can Trust With Inspection & Material Verification

Consumer products need to meet many different international standards of compliance for materials. This is meant to protect the health and safety of both the end user and the environment. We take compliance very seriously for all of our customers, which is why we’ve invested in advanced scientific testing and verification equipment to qualify all incoming raw materials.

For your peace of mind, our facility is fully certified to ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.

Range Of In-House Finishing Services Available

Consumer products place a premium on beautiful cosmetic finishes to really set them apart in a crowded marketplace. We offer world-class finishing services for your metal or plastic parts that include millions of colors in matte, gloss, metallic, rubberized, clear coats and more. And we also have anodizing, chrome plating or powder coating to achieve exactly the look and performance you need.

Consumer Products Quickfacts

What is the best way to create a successful consumer product?
Start with a rapid prototype of your design, usually with CNC machining or vacuum casting. Use this as the basis for testing the market conditions as you ramp up to progressively higher volumes.

Do you offer advice on how to improve my product designs?
Once we receive your order, we will do a complete Design for Manufacturing review to indicate areas where the design can be optimized to enhance product quality, reduce cost or speed up delivery time.

Are you able to ramp up from prototyping to full production?
Yes, we can quickly scale up from a single part to hundreds of thousands, depending entirely on your needs.

Common Consumer Manufacturing Services

CNC Machining

High-speed multi-axis CNC machines are fast, accurate and versatile, able to work with many different kinds of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and plastic in any quantity.

In our OMOM department, CNC machines are essential for helping us to make tools and dies for plastic injection molding and pressure die casting to support your higher volume production needs.

Polyurethane Vacuum Casting

Vacuum casting is a rapid prototyping method for making a small number of high-quality copies from a master pattern. These prototypes are used to test different design options, for engineering evaluation, or as the basis for crowdfunding and later mass-market consumer product development.

Our service is not only fast but we are experts at making vacuum cast parts with the fit and finish of a full production item – without the investment in hard tooling.

Plastic Injection Molding

We have dozens of plastic injection molding machines with capacities up to 1000 tons, ready to make unlimited volumes of parts with complex features and tight tolerances.

In addition, we have a special micro-molding service (under 10 tons) that’s perfect for the miniature gears, pins, enclosures and other small parts that are integral to many electromechanical devices.

Pressure Die Casting

Thin-walled metal housings and fittings can be made in larger volumes by pressure die casting. This method is very cost-effective, fast, and produces parts with close tolerances and excellent surface finishes.

Our engineering team will work with you to ensure that your consumer product design is optimized to achieve the best results when making tooling for your pressure die casting project.
